No, it merely makes it bigger by a software procedure called interpolation. The result is crap as u can see

yeah its better to buy a real vga phone or a megapixel phone... the interpolated ones look like somebody smeared vaseline on the lens....

Maybe you can interpolate 1mp, 1.5 or 2mp with a decent result, but 0.1mp to vga is a crap.
