> EURO 2004 in Portugal

Portugal is the most generous team that played in Euro2004.
Game 1 - Greece: Paulo Ferreira (POR) offered the ball to Karagounis (GRE) who scored.
Game 4 - England: Costinha (POR) tryin to pass the ball to Ricardo (POR), gives it to Owen (ENG) who scores.
Game 5 - Holland: Jorge Andrade (POR) scores an own-goal when trying to cut a pass.
Game 6 - All the three above score a goal to make things even!!!!

It's very very difficult for small countries like Greece to repeat that kind of showing and reach again a major final. Big teams won't "allow" it to happen in the future.The same applies for Portugal too,evethough they are bigger footballing power than Greece. So is now or never!!!!!!
At this stage is not only about footballing skills but passion and will to win. May the better and the luckier wins.
At least if we lose i can feel a little happy for the Portugese friends that are decent people and offered us great hospitality!!

It's very strange final match to me.
If someone told me that final of euro 2004 will be Portugal vs Greece I would tell him
he's a little crazy.I think most ppl expected in final the teams as France,England or Italy.
I'm sure that's a good for European soccer that no those classical teams in final.
Greece & Portugal My favorite for final is home team.
