hi.. i am planning to but a 3230 can you please tell me if the speed of this fone comparable to 6630's? or just a stone throw away from the speed of 7610?
I currently have a 7610 you see, a big factor as well is , does is support a normal RS MMC or it has to be DV RS MMC?
Thank you!!

@sheeby....The 6630/80/81 are much faster and advanced in hardware & software than the 3230 or the 7610....If price is not an issue...get a 6681 ...The 3230 is a good smartphone for its price...but the 6630 or 6681 are more advanced

@all, I had a 3230 for a short period and returned it.the software on it is excellent.my only complains are that the keys are too small and the area around the joystick too tight for ease of use.
Help me please!

@Si_V80, ok here its very strange. I hate 2 say it but double check your data settings and which is your default gprs access. In menu, settings, connection, access points. Then check which is ur default; same location but in gprs. If its all good ask ur provider if theyre using imei filtering; only allowing there branded phones access. Yes this can be done with whipcore.
@Sheeby, your 3230 uses non dual voltage; which i think is dead, but the dual voltage rsmmc works in the 7610.
Now the 6600 although a great phone, is just too old. Save the money for a 668x. You wont regret it.

Hey Prom! Thanks for the e-mail, received and installed 6.02 and the only problem I'm having now is that pages will not load. I get a blank screen. I went through all the GPRS settings, I made sure I had the service with T-mo and still the same. I deleted the program from phone to reinstall and try again. I also called T-mo and they appeared to be clueless to what I was asking. Your advice is greatly appreciated and hope to hear from ya soon!!!!!!

@mason; ok your on tmobile usa, right? Cool 2ways 2 solve this. 1> call in 2 tmobile tell them you have a gprs issue & need 2 speak 2 Tier2 tech support. Get them 2 give you all information about data settings for internet2 & tzones. Have them double check which you have on ur account and which you have in the switch (here is where i mentioned about canceling ur location and mspurge). Dont call on ur cellphone; youll need it off. Get the name of the rep.
2> i can call a friend and ask them 2 do it; i used to work at tier2 and got some friends that can help.

@Sheeby, no its vice-versa. Dual Voltage Reduced Size MMC will work in your 7610, not the non dual voltage to a 668x series or Nseries.
