after reading tis post i flashed my k750i phone with an unbranded version, i first had orange (from netherlands) I followed the guide gsmen written in dutch but i still have a few questions
the flash was succesful with cda eu3 (K750i_R1L002 ) but i checked if the sony ericsson site still could detect the phone but it says something like, there is no service for your operator?!!
How is this possible? is it because of the firmware from davinci? should i have used the R1J002 firmware EU3 ??
And is it possible to flash it back to orange whenever needed (in case of warranty)
Please somebody can answer this, thanks a lot!!

Did you remember to change the CDA to something that coincides with your country? If not, do not use the SEUS as you will be back with a branded phone again.

SEUS is a very buggy service. Also it seems to become a trend (at least on some handsets) that seus check a combination of CDA and IMEI. At least this is done on some Asia handsets (my k750 bought in HK doenst work with SEUS after flashing it to EU3)

i just tried it myself... i have a k750i, an original one, unbranded, it had EU1 firmware, i flashed it to eu3, now i tried the update service and it said my phone isn't allowed to use this service...
okay, so i checked the firmware, and there's a really strange thing...
