You guys say you've experience no lag what-so-ever. However since day 3 of my phone, and without installing the first application I've notice a lag within the first 45 seconds upon the screen appearing just after cold boot. If I were to go into any app, especially the camera app within that 45 seconds of the desktop appearing there is severe lag for up to another 45 seconds. I've also notice a few times my phone had refused to continue with the camera app wiIth a notice of excessive heat. Please see my previous post from months ago. Can any of you try to immediately enter any app, especially camera app and see if you can duplicate this lag? I like this phone but I find it strange that none of you have noticed this. My phone was naked when the overheating issue happened. It's happened about 7 times since I've had the phone with light use (no cpu-intensive background programs running). I've taken some pretty good pictures with this phone, but this problem urks me, but yet I am probably past my time for a return to Handtech since it's now exactly 2 months.

i think the mere fact that it's trying to say 4.4.2 is almost ready to be released is the biggest clue that it's a fake. 4.4.1 isn't even out!

ALL PICS OF RED XPERIA Z1 are FAKE, as someone posted on Digi-Wo a pic of yellow Z1 in same shot which clearly states ALL PICS ARE FAKE.



It seems some on SonyVeit posted those fake pics and from there rumor started.

Looks like I found another bug with the Z1, but I need you guys to help me confirm.

According to the WiFi tethering setting on the Z1, it should allow up to 10 device to connect to it. For me, I can only have one device connected to it at once. In my scenario, I have a Nexus 4 and a Nexus 7. If either one of them is connected to the Z1, the other can't seem to connect, but will see the network. Can someone confirm the maximum number of devices the Z1 can support for its WiFi tethering?

UPDATE:

just tried it and i can connect 2 devices no problem. I have another one I could try to tack on but it's currently downloading and I don't want to switch over to interrupt the connection.

as you can see, 2 devices with 2 IP addresses.

Hi guys in your opinion when ordering directly from Sony are there more possibilieties to recieve a "good display" Z1 unit? based on the facts that maybe they would send you the last produced one which maybe have no leftovers (if the leftovers display leak is true)...
I'm asking beacause ordering from them in the School Online Store the Z1 costs 579€ instead of 689€!!!

Yes, I did, the lag still occurs on the latest firmware. I thought at first it was gone but I spoke to soon.

Dude,please Dont buy Z1 and there is really issue on the Z1 screen(panel lottery) and I suggest you to wait for January and lets all defective moves out but still not sure..


either if you have "MOOGOO"s Luck you get a Good one or like me if you then may be Bad one and pain in your ass......
