Indeed, it looks nice but it is longer and slightly narrower than the ZL 131.7 x 69.8 x 9.8 mm with a smaller display.

HTC One 5.4 (137.4mm) x 2.7 (68.2mm) x 0.37 (9.3mm) inches.

I wouldn't hope for it. Sony needs to introduce something new, as it seems it is the trend now. Not just going for a larger MP camera, faster processor, bigger screen or a larger screen resolution. The consumers are craving for something that they won't expect, something unusually new or "innovative". Just like how Nokia did with its Lumia 920 with the PureView camera and PureMotion display and now HTC with HTC One's UltraPixel. Now, let's not be fanboys, but they really did something more than a gimmicky name, at least for the Lumia 920 for now.

Hey guys we are only 26 pages away from beating 2012 Rumors thread!

Regarding the HTC One, it looks nice but with a 4.7 inch screen on a body the size of a Xperia Z it will hardly put up a fight. The reviews for XZ are in and while the haters will hate and exaggerate only the negatives of each review, I still think the Xperia Z will be one of the best phones of 2013 and will sell nicely. Looking forward to the rest of the 2013 portfolio! Cheers!

OH -- and PS4 will be announced tomorrow!

Anyone in chat right now?

Like I said earlier

It is the same SoC it just got renamed. They are both Quad Core Krait 300 CPU`s. The 600 is just overclocked to 1.7 GHz.

Edit:
JDI to produce 4.4 inches FHD displays later this year.

Why dont they borrow engineers from their camera division? Its a shame that they make amazing cameras. they can also use their audio technologies from walkman. And its very odd for a company making TVs and havng JDI to have a screen that is not on par with the competitors
Hopefully ONE SONY will really bring the best of SONY:wink:

You're right, I would just add that HTC One uses 1.7 Ghz while original S600 goes up to 1.9 Ghz, so basically HTC One has a down cloaked S600 and as such will be inferior to regular phones with S600.
