There was plenty of truthful information here. Seeing you only joined Esato today, I don't even believe you have read this whole thread as you are obviously just making stupid uninformed comments.

Silence is gold huh? You should take your own advice. Most people can respect this thread and use it to their advantage. You obviously can't, so why come here? Nobody forces you to, and honestly it's none of your business to go around insulting people like you are. Grow up.

LOL mate, you talking like some folks from other forum: "W800 photos are better than K800" - in your dreams! if you want to convince anybody to your theories we would like to see reliable comparisions. sorry but without them your words are empty

Ok these are my finding in R1EA031-(o2-uk)

I’m luck enough to have in my hand a couple of K850i’s (Couple of the Generic)

The differences are as follows

Boot Up sequence
R1DA038 takes on average 35 seconds
R1EA031 takes on average 25 seconds

New changes in the Menu

Sound alerts:
Key Response now includes Touch option

Mobile Networks::
In the GSM/3G menu HSDPA has been added. (Not O2-UK)

However on some master resets this does disappear.

There is no change in the menu speed when moving round the phone.
However the phone it self is physically faster when opening Java applications and browsing on the internet

Media menu speed has also been improved, However Lag is still apparent when using the Media section and browsing the phone.

The camera drive has been updated to 3.7
LCD: Version has been upgraded to 200712121
Java: 8.2
Text rev: BB

Many people on here say that the Lag on the Videos have gone.

This is not totally the case.

Some MP4’s still have lag on the phone and the sound and video are still seconds out, although some videos are now in time.

The Jbenchmark test that have been run on R1EA031 are as follows

Jbenchmark: 6467
Jbenchmark 2: 938
Jbenchmark 3D HQ: 437
Jbenchmark 3D LQ: 425

Hope this helps

I can't as I no longer have my K800.

Like I said though. I will not be convinced that the camera on the K850 is any good until I start getting decent pics from it cause so far, I've had nothing but crap. Out of all the pics I've seen posted on various sites, I can probably count on one hand the number that I would say are good enough. The rest are ok until you look at them full size and then its just horrific.

I'm yet to even have a pic that looks acceptable when its shrunk down. The phone itself is awesome but I hate the camera on it.

I'm with O2 UK and I've got HSDPA in mine. It appeared and was selected as the default option without me having to do a reset.

OK, I got my phone back from repair today. I have updated before but this time it won't work. When it says hold 'c' and plug the usb in I do exactly that and it just keeps going into mass storage for some reason? :S Help anyone? Could it be because my battery isn't 100%?

And why don't O2 UK get the HSDPA option?

I'm with O2 UK and I have the HSDPA option on mine.

Mine occasionally goes into storage mode when holding the C button, I have found that if I unplug the USB lead from the PC and put it back in again it works fine the next time I try it.

I can confirm that the shutter bug is still there, at least in my phone, so it's logical to say that the new firmware doesn't have a fix for this, it almost sounds logical as it's more likely to be a mechanical problem that a software one.

Did you try to clean the light sensor (on the rear of the phone) before shooting?

Are these O2 Generic phones are they just on the o2 network?

To tell the difference is that o2 phones have the o2 icon where play now is
