@jpl, just tested one. It has its own earphone w/c is similar w/ P8. HPR-20 attachment is at the base of the phone and fits well.

Yes, I know the radio works... but if you play mp3s on the P800... does the sound come out in stereo on the HPR-20? Does the sound come out at all on the HPR-20? I heard that the MP3s on the P800 will only come out on the mini stereo jack.

I already tried turning it off a couple of times, bluetooth is working just not showing any version.

erwin... not sure, but i think the fm gets it's power from P800 only. and P800 can detect that as an headset, not as a radio..
try to have your p8 reflash.. so the bt version will come out.
