I’m luck enough to have in my hand a couple of K850i’s (Couple of the Generic)
The differences are as follows
Boot Up sequence
R1DA038 takes on average 35 seconds
R1EA031 takes on average 25 seconds

Sound alerts:
Key Response now includes Touch option
Mobile Networks::
In the GSM/3G menu HSDPA has been added. (Not O2-UK)
However on some master resets this does disappear.
There is no change in the menu speed when moving round the phone.
However the phone it self is physically faster when opening Java applications and browsing on the internet
Media menu speed has also been improved, However Lag is still apparent when using the Media section and browsing the phone.
The camera drive has been updated to 3.7
LCD: Version has been upgraded to 200712121
Java: 8.2

Many people on here say that the Lag on the Videos have gone.
This is not totally the case.
Some MP4’s still have lag on the phone and the sound and video are still seconds out, although some videos are now in time.
The Jbenchmark test that have been run on R1EA031 are as follows
Jbenchmark: 6467
Jbenchmark 2: 938
Jbenchmark 3D HQ: 437
Jbenchmark 3D LQ: 425

but many have noticed noticeable speed in speed overall..
anyway the java bench,mark is awesome...
any info on sound quality in media??

I get that occasionally. Just plug into a different USB Port. After a restart on the PC it will be back to normal.

I'm central europe, poland, firmware 37, unbranded - and SEUS keeps saying "Update unavailable" - I tried on 2 different computers and still the same...
Anyone knows what I might be doing wrong?

It takes on average about a week for them to be all placed on there.
Also some networks have yet to approve the firmware.

"Update Unavailable" usually only pops up when something is happening in the background. Normally SEUS will allow you to "continue anyway" (displaying banner "Your phone software is Up to Date) to reistall the existing firmware. You should see the update online for you pretty soon I would think.
I had the same thing when Branded 038 was being loaded for my Orange Branded phone as they are always at least 5 days late and I was CONSTANTLY checking.... as I am with 031.

Acutally, it does say "Update unavailable" first and then additionally (with a smaller font) "Your phone is already up-to-date", but there's no 'continue anyway' option...
I guess I'll check in a couple of hours.

Is it for generic or branded version? I'm from Poland too, I've got 037 CE firmware (previously unlocked and debranded from german o2 branding), and unfortunately update is not available for me too.
Is it possible that some phones can't be updated by SEUS due to previous debranding/reflashing by setool or davinci? I had no problem with that with my previous k800i but now it seems strange...
