@da wanqsta: Thanks for the heads up...I'm getting to grips with this little monster fast and I'm starting to like

all over again.
I'll check out Opera (bloody essential) since I'm on the net most times of the day.
I also need some sort of an RSS reader(I'm a news junkie of the highest order).
@Rhino: You can get yourself a good second-hand one for about R3000-3500, a new one should cost you in the region of R4500...seems like the price hasn't gone down one bit.

If you know someone in the UK returning to SA in the near future, new P910's can be bought for approx R2500 to R2900,going by this morning's exchange rate.
BTW,I decided to treat my very faithful P900 to a new genuine P900 housing. Finally getting rid of the Orange branding. The current housing has a crack near the screen, where the keypad rests, and light scuffs caused by nearly 20 months of constant use,so it should (hopefully)look nearly as good as new when I get it back.

Got myself a BodyGlove skin...would hate to get unneccesary scratch marks on the phone.
@Rhino8: The 6680 is not too bad a phone, a almost got myself one last month.
For the second time I took my K700i to Vodacare in Green Point, the lady behind the counter wrote down all my complaints: it switches off by itself, battery drains quite fast and the missed calls don't divert to voice mail even though all the settings are correct. There was no mention of water damage this time.

@Rhino
I don't know about your preferences in buying phones. I have seen a few going from R2 000.00 to R3 000.00 in Junkmail. Some people offer proof of purchase and some don't have it. Some are even new, opened once or so.
To be safe, I would recommend meeting the seller and when satisfied pay them. The bank transfer stuff is not safe. Again dont take if there is no original packaging and proof of purchase.
You can get Junkmail in many places.
Hope this can help you get the phone, P910 is such a great phone.

Body Glove was a wise move. The first accessory I bought for the P900 was a Krusell case from
www.expansys.com.
Even with this excellent protection, the inevitable scuff or scratch is likely to happen after lengthy periods of ownership, particularly where the cases may not completely cover.Oh well,we do what we can to minimise wear and tear.
Is the P910 officially your new 'Precious?'Probably a dof question,I suppose...

Methinks once Brix discovers the full capabilities of his smartphone the P910 is going to definitely reach "precious" status in record time.

@da wanqsta: I guess this is my new "precious" although I still own the K700. I dowloaded Opera which quite useful but is not as nippy as it's younger sibling. Holding the phone it feels like a PalmOne Treo...which I hated for a whole lot of reasons.

It is big indeed. But it does a lot of things so its a compromise. Is a pity it does not have EDGE. On the other hand with all my software a S60 cell will certainly be more suited. And lastly - welcome to the 'smart' world. On another note - does anyone know where I can get a real chip and working 6680 ?
