Debranding them shouldnt cause any problems. (not heard of this before)
The only way it wouldnt work, if you have debranded with a different version to the language, then SEUS wouldnt know what to update.
The Firmwares are not yet on thats all.
check in a couple of days time.

Also can someone tell me why I didn't EVER have a 'continue anyway' option? This seems strange for me too? Hope my phone will be supported soon...

Acutally, it does say "Update unavailable" first and then additionally (with a smaller font) "Your phone is already up-to-date", but there's no 'continue anyway' option...
I guess I'll check in a couple of hours.
Good luck then mate! All I know is everyone else gets it a week (At least) before I can. Orange UK will spend a long time putting is ridiculous homescreen on it and filling it with branded rubbish. By most of its time im sure these guys work an 8 hour day (but must have a 6 hour lunch break) as it takes over a week still! Forget Indian Call Centres, they got chimpanze programmers now.
Grrr... Sorry Orange but you suck balls.

SE are still updating the servers with the firmware updates.
It takes on average about a week for them to be all placed on there.
Also some networks have yet to approve the firmware.

any one checked that o2 branded phone to see if hsdpa is listed.
Mine is an O2 branded phone and the HSDPA is listed in the GSM/3G networks option in mobile networks

It seems like the HGE-100 GPS accessory is a bit quicker at getting a fix on satellites with the new version. I can now get a lock in about 60 seconds, whereas with the old version it could take 5 minutes.

Restarting my PC worked. Updating now on 80%. I think HSDPA was always available as an option on O2 UK but people have been master resetting and losing it. I will confirm if I have it once the update is complete, not long now...
Yep, the option to select HSDPA is available on O2 UK.

When setting the time, with the new firmware, I've noticed that it gives you the option of choosing a city so that it sets your correct time zone. I remeber that in the previous firmwares it only gave you the option to set the time zone by yourself. Do I remember well???
nopes...
I have that option on the 037...

I have a theme that customises wthe media player and I can rotate my phone without it changing to black and white..
Oh wait, I see what you mean, If you select 'landscape' the background disappears. Hmm maybe the theme creators could sort this one out?
