1. This is fake
2. Did somebody notice that this is already the 300 page and we haven`t seen an high-tech phone from SE. I heard that SE is watching Esato. When they saw this thread, I`m sure that they were laughing like idiots.

I think SE has had the phone(s) ready for a while but they might revise their devices each time Nokia, Samsung or Moto release/announce a new hanset.

They might wait for the public's reaction to Nokia's phone like the N95, E65, etc.. or Samsung's F700 to see if it's wise to add features.

They could easily release a phone with HSPDA, 3G, wifi, touchscreen, decent cam, etc... but they need to know if they have a demand for that and if carriers are willing to carry the handset in their portfolio. Only a few of us are willing to buy them sim free. they need the carriers to buy the handsets from them and sell them for cheaper with a contract, otherwise the phones will just die on the shelves or in warehouses and SE will never recoup their investment in R&D, etc...

Nokia ans Samsung are strong enough to release an army of handsets every year with a few real high tech devices each year but I don't think SE can, not even Moto seems willing to release really innovative devices since the Razr (3 years old).

A shame for us, we'll have to wait for the average phone user to take an interested in these hansets to see them released and updated more often.

Anyway, SE, you should think about your fans and early adopters who can easily make your products more popular than they alaready are.

Spot on remirez, look at the W880I, no HSPDA or GPS but no one cares either, no one uses the video phone features much these day's due to cost, just want stylish designs with multi media functions. Plus I've used my 3G web access when in reception of it and I think it's blindingly fast as it is. More then quick enough for web surfing and sending emails.
I also think the camera's are for conveniance. SatNav is a good idea as I use TomTom on my P990 in my car but that's also cause of the nice 2.8" screen, to start to put it into normal phones is fine for conveniance if your on foot or want to find a resturant etc, but pointless in a car cause the screens are too small I think.
This might all be why you can't get a SE phone with HSPDA or a GPS module built in.
I see a lot of people at work getting the W880I now, because it's a stylish thin well made music phone that's easy to use. One person ditched an LG chocolate for it.
