Looks like this phone isnt coming out on Tmobile uk. Phoned up the upgrade and loyalty department and they said they have release dates for all phones being released till mid november and xperia isnt one of them

I suggest everyone on tmobile to bug them for the phone!
They told me the same, but I am prepared to give it a go, however I think T-Mobile see the new Google OS as the way forward, the last "smart phone" they took from

was the M600 so I think their colours are nailed firmly to the mast!

I will be getting X1i on upgrade from O2 UK on the 13th.
Does anyone feel disapointed that there is no accelerometer in X1 ?
there is many new software utalizing this feature
Have you actually confirmed all this with O2? I rang up last week and they said that they will be getting the phone soon, but I couldn't arrange an upgrade because not everything was sorted yet. If they are allowing upgrades now, think I'll ring up tomorrow

@masseur
Thank for the reply. Do you think taiwan is good in making wm?? How about other wm like the htc pro, where is it made??
I wouldn't worry about.
HTC is a Taiwan based company. Is one of the fastest growing mobile manufacturers in the world. They made Kaiser, Tilt, etc. creators of the touch series. They specialise in Win Mobile. I believe they have the biggest share of WM smart/pda phones market. And SE claims the concept and design but the manufacture is OEM HTC.

Like most things in life. We have to decide the trade off between the pluses and and cons. I'm a bit disappointed but the pluses of my needs overcome the cons. Like they say "It comes with the territory". I married the best girl in the world but I'm tolerant with the cons, They came with the territory. he he

Htc touch pro's made in taiwan as well, just like any other hts devices i know off, and its build quality is surprisingly amazing!
SO i dont think any one needs to worry about x1i's build.

Well lets hope that

's new baby benefits from HTC's build quality, the build of the last few "Flagship" models from

have been shoddy to put it mildly IMO.

Thank you bider, nice review.
"Who chooses for the Xperia X1 have to wonder whether he / she can live with the tiny text." I think I can't, or better to say I know I can't, but let's see more facts from esato members who will buy it first.

Was that a retail model they reviewed?... Did the X1 loose it's other stereo speaker? Can any of the current users confirm?
