A small Poll:
What is THE single most important reason for you to have chosen (Sony-) Ericsson?
Aside from the design (i love the T28, R320 and R520 design) that really appeals to me, it would be the fact that i will have paid less for a phone that will outclass and outperform those NOkias you see about everywhere.

no, it always turns off for me.. poo... unless that proximity switch is super-sensitive...

Can you elaborate on that a bit? What exactly do you mean?
Are problems with proximity hard- or software related?

OK guys, sorry, I must confess I haven't read all the preceeding 23 pages of this thread, thus my question may have been already answered. If not - here it is:
The r520 manual and the menus too point to a vague 'sync calendar' command. I tried it with my Yahoo Calender thru GPRS and simple GSM - in vain, all I get is an error message. The problem is that the manual is too vague, SE doesn't give a shit about supporting of such issues, neither do Yahoo or MSN Hotmail for that matter.

Try www.weblicon.net, there all the informations you need to synchronize the phone with their free online calendar and address book services. The gui looks great, you can even download a java client on your pc, but sometimes you need to try for a while before getting synchronized with your phone. Hope you like it.

@dietbrand. U have to imagine a semisphere app. 10 cm. Then u place it above the speaker so u get 5cm allaround, with the speaker in the center. This is the area it feels movement! ;-) so u can use the keys as long as u dont move above the lower rim of the screen.
