I was only on the wind up. Don't worry. the files you need to get TT6 going are on the Johnex site that I can tell. You will need the maps though but PM me if you wish and I can point you in the right direction.

PS You own an Impreza? just a guess.

Thank you must have had the wrong link. This tomtom stuff is so confusing i am not exactly sure what i need as i would like to have the full package ie all the maps and voices etc etc. Hopefully i can get this working.

Once you get started and it's running then it becomes clear. It's not that difficult to sort. If I managed it then so can you

@hay: well, the mobile site is for mobiles, shouldn't have posted that, as you need the web version of the site, so you just change the mobile.* with beta.* . If you need to download applications to cell, go to the mobile page on your phone.

************ TomTom 6 **** Key mappings ******

Ignore if this has been already posted or old news. But I just found that TomTom6 has some key mappings (not sure if it's case-sensitive or not)

p - preferences menu
i - zoom in
o - zoom out
Enter key - main menu
del key - close menu ( and for mute/unmute speaker)
c - font effects
+ - zoom in
- - zoom out
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - take you directly to different menus

enjoy
