if you mean skype, then download iskoot (www.iskoot.com) for w600i. it is working with the latest (at least I can log in and see the list of contacts)
if you mean Live TV (Vimio Live Tv) it's here on Esato

@scroitoru:

Sorry but I'm a bit confused about your post. Did you install the w600i iSkoot client on your P990i?

Thanks

Thats where im weary it seems that carphonewareouse have added their own firmware? even though the phone is sold as sim free/unlocked ....

Surely pure unlocked phones should be able to be updated?

Thanks for your input BTW

Like someone said earlier:
When P990 became available and people came rushing to the stores, some shops apparently "parallel imported" phones aimed for other parts of the world (like a stock of Dutch phones ending up in the UK, for example). That can be one of the reasons as to why some CDAs seem to be totally random...

It still has problems with FM radio, when turning on all the features regarding RDS. After doing this, listening to some radio stations, the phone will reset "in order to improve its performance" as it says

I had that problem with the FM radio before the update, in fact it was so bad FM radio was practically useless. After the update even with RDS on I've never had a single reset while listening to FM or for any other reason
Apparently the reason for FM radio crashing previously was RDS receiving non-ASCII characters. They seem to have fixed that. Can you isolate under what conditions exactly you are getting the reset?
Edit: After setting all RDS options and browsing through various FM channels for quite a while, I was able to get 1 reset with a specific station, however I was not able to reproduce it. This confirms by belief that RDS has to send a specific range of characters for the reset condition to occur and most likely those in western Europe who live happily within the range of the standard ASCII set will not experience this problem.
Still, it's a huge improvement over the previous condition but obviously there's more to be done.

Hi guys!

What about the most "bizarre problem" that used to exist on previous versions: having same contacts in the phone (with defined Voice labels) and SIM results in problems with received SMSs (you cannot open it, but you can forward it?!) and not showing Contact information when receiving call?

Is it fixed or we still have to avoid keeping Contacts on SIM?

hey guys, when you use update service and it finally recognises your phone, does it show you a picture of the p990i or just some generic phone. i used to have a k800i and it shoed a pic of the phone once it had finished dectetion, but with my p990i it just has a picture of a plain silver phone, no branding (SE) or nothing. also do you think that due to the p990i not being out in australia, SEUS wont let me update as it knows where i am or sim card or something??? my cda is 2007/8

SEUS shows a generic phone picture. I've never seen a picture of the P990 and I've updated twice.
