i also thought V4 was quite good, so maybe a mix of V3 & V4 with some bass as the sound is to soft

I'm using your beta v3, and it's impressive indeed. but there's a little thing. The call volume when using HPM-70 is way too loud. I have to lower it back to the minimum and even there is loud enough. heck, even with no dot (level 0) is loud. peter, check and see if you can reproduce this.

I had a problem with the "DRC on" R8 v1 acoustic that the music on the backspeaker played so soft that only a mosquito would hear it. I reverted back to R8 K800 v1 and the problem disappeared.

and please they are all V2! just diff betas.. so its v2 beta1, beta2, beta3...
V5 its quite terrible, since I have updated my phone with SEUS to R1, than reflashed to R8.
And now the sounds are diff...
I can hear now the terrible treble on some betas.. it gave headache!
Oh, and I bought a Phillips SHS8000 \\o/
great earphones now =]
all setted up for modding acoustics.. just need time ^^
