What the reviewer meant with "We can't give you a subjective opinion on the browser since it is not the final version, but it looks quite promising."
Was he referring to Opera 9.5?

i noticed that LAU...its weird
I have prices for final price with taxes here at Portugal: 360 euros for the G900 (includes 21% VAT). This is the price for the unlocked version.
Its really a good launch price...if one buys it on an operator it should be really cheap

That's excellent news. Finally a SE launch price that's not exaggerated. Of course, with that you get no memory card and very basic headphones (HPM-64 according to the WP before it was taken offline). But i guess it's better that way, you can buy the memory card size you like and still end up with a phone at a decent price.
Really wondering what SE will remove from the feature list, now that the WP is offline. My guess is the music player: in the original WP, it said the G900 would have the same music player as the W960, but on all screenshots so far, it looks more like the one onboard the W910, so a little more basic.... too bad. Hope that'll be the only downgrade !

After seeing the preview from Gsmarena.com I feel a bit disappointed in the G900.
Considering it is supposed to be the older brother of the G700, why did it have to come with worse ergonomics (though this is relative) and not to mention no hot swappable memory card?
Eh?
http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]on/key.MobilePhoneWrapper.G900
says that it takes an M2 card. Am I misunderstanding what you mean by hot-swappable?

Well....

I think we can't compare P990/P1 with the G series... Right comparison will be with the X1 (sadly.... with WM)...

What? Are you serious? Of course one should compare the g series price with older uiq3 phones - they share alot of things. What makes no sense at all is comparing them with the x1
