It's better to have more fps, just use 30fps qvga for forget vga it's useless on a qvga screen anway, plus file sizes will be smaller, i'm using 178*144 .3gp and there still perfectly watchable fullscreen.

digressions about the superiority of something over something are always a neverending story but there are limits of credibility. sorry but you are beyond the limit. please, don't post another boring comparision - people don't want to eat more than they can swallow. however if you want to prove something you can try to do this in my thread (about my camdriver for K800) where we can create further discussion. don't expect my pics from K800 in this thread about C702

uhh, wrong sentence quoted (I edited my post above). I have to admit, if we compare both in poor light conditions:
1. not-modified driver: C702 wins easily
2. modified driver: mission impossible for C702

Not really the C702 has to use longer exposure time due to smaller aperture, but the C702 at iso640 has the same quality as K800i at iso 320, My C702 does have a almost completed modded driver it's new max exposure is 1/4 iso640, and 1second for twilight landscape, 1/3 for twlight portrait. your modded driver with 2seconds of exposure time seems impractical no way your gonna be able to hold it still with your hands your always have to find a flat surface to put it on, 1/20 is meant to be the limit for handheld i can do up to 1/3 normally ok hand held, anything else requires somewhere to put the phone.

yep, every K800 shot on which ISO is not higher than 400 is not bad. the problem is that K800 often use ISO640 and C702 don't have to go that high. long exposure modes are still the only solution for K800. 2s mode indeed is good only if you have something stable under the camera but there are also much faster modes (1s - 1/3s) quite good enough for shaky hands

hey number1
thanks for ur reply.
A few more questions!!!
1) Would u rate the c702 audio capability on par with the walkman series?
2) Would u presonally recommend the c702 camera capabilities?
3) Is it possible to use the MXE-60 xenon flash with the c702?
Thanks...

1. I'm using modded acoustics so sound is above the walkmans, loudpspeaker is very loud & surpisingly bassy.
2. Yep quality is always good above other camphones, colour can fail sometimes so got to make use of the whitebalances.
3. no idea i don't own 1 , but in the camdriver there is
Property 23, Xenon flash required.
I'l do you video a bit later when i walk the dog i am using a modded driver can record up to 36fps rather than the standard 30fps, also my led flash pics will be different from a standard C702's led flash pics.

well you could tell me how to do that...
2 years ago i modded my k750i changed acoustics made it quite loud...
Changed the camera drivers which improved cam quality...
Also i had done a 50-50 firmware. fs was w800 and the main of k750i
was quite stable...
i had used far manager and some other xs++, dont really remember...
What are the mods available for c702...
Thanks
