That's wrong I'm afraid. You can start the music again - you just have to hold down the play/stop button for half a second or so - the keypad doesn't need to be unlocked.

Not on my phone. To start the music again I have to unlock the pad. Does not play even if I hold down the play button for + 5 sek.
What alternative is it? Could anyone confirm which of the alternatives it is?

Mine is the same: with the keypad locked press the play button ones to stop the music and then press and hold for a second to play again.

I double confirm this can totally be done. Maybe a matter of firmware version?

Guys, this is my first HSDPA phone so I'm not too sure about the signal icon. When there's 3G network there'll be a small 'G' on top of the signal indicator right? So if there's HSDPA connection should the small 'G' be replaced with a small 'H'? I'm assuming that since 'E' appears for EDGE. Or is 'G' for GPRS?

I noticed you can only resume play unlocked only if you have it playing music through the speaker. You can resume play when its locked only if you have the headphones in.
EDIT is there a way I can download apps and games to my phone with my computer instead of using the phone's browser? and where would be the best place to get some? thanks

small G on top of signal is GPRS
When 3G network is available it is G icon next to signal
H (HSDPA) icon replacing G icon (3G) when downloading with 3.5G capable network

Clear as crystal. Thanks for the clarification mate. Now I just wish there's the '3G Only' option. I truly can't imagine why there's none
