I just love to listen to videos recorded with 808 PureView, the mic there is so good it beats the crap out of most dedicated cameras ... It makes me sad that such a wonderful technology as PureView is only used in one phone, and that's probably it... Some WP8 phones got taste of awesome mic, but as for other phones it's still stone age...

Great piece of engineering there.. simple assembly, easy access. What I like the most about it all the heat shields on top of the chips on the main board... I wish more OEMs would pay that kind of attention to heat management.

Bigger sensor (bigger pixels after oversampling), better optics.. better results. I feel like the 808 can actually provide better results in the dark as well..
They made one mistake.. the sensor is FSI, not BSI. Also.. the 808 has a built in editor, no need for an "app"

Without Doubt This Was The Worst Comparative Test Done By GSMArena !
In Addition Erroneous Information As 808 PureView PRO Count With A BSI Sensor, the Truth Even When On A Sensor Uses FSI !
They Also Missed The Technical Specifications Of Audio Recorded On Video !
After All The 808 PureView PRO Audio Captured During Video Recording Is Not 128 Kbps Bitrate And 48 kHz Sampling Rate And Yes 256 Kbps Bitrate And 48 kHz Sampling Rate !
To Cap a Succession Of Mistakes, They Were Unable To Use The 808 PureView PRO In Bad Light Conditions !
Who Owns The 808 PureView PRO, Know That By Choosing The Way We Activate Creative And ND Filter, It Increases The Exposure Time To 2.7 Seconds, Which Would Radically Change The Image Quality For The Better, Thus Annihilating The Galaxy Camera !
Finally Note Zero For This Weak Review !

Oh ya.. I didn't notice that they missed the audio recording bit rate, but maybe their 808 is still on FP1 ? FP1 records at 128 .. fp2 is 256.
Regardless, I agree with you, not the most professional review from their team.
Either way, it proves once again that the 808 is an engineering marvel.. enjoy it
