we have 3g still this year. BUT only in the biggest malls in belgium. in 2005 there will be more coverage.

Sony Ericsson toont UMTS-telefoon
Sony Ericsson brengt in de tweede helft van 2003 zijn eerste commercieel verkrijgbare mobiele UMTS-telefoon op de markt. Het verliesgevende bedrijf zegt op de goede koers te liggen om in 2006 nummer een op de mobiele markt te zijn.
Gisteren toonde Sony Ericsson zijn eerste mobiele UMTS-telefoon op het 3GSM World Congress in Cannes. Naast zaken als een USB-ingang en opslagcapaciteit via Sonys Memory Stick heeft de telefoon 2 ingebouwde camera's en 2 beeldschermen. Ondermeer Infosync schrijft erover.
Sinds halverwege 2002 beschikt een groepe mobiele telecomaanbieders over het toestel. Nieuwsgierige consumenten kunnen het toestel in de tweede helft van 2003 in de winkel gaan bekijken en, eventueel, kopen.
Sony Ericsson heeft al zijn hoop gevestigd op de nieuwe generatie mobiele telefoons. Aandeelhouders Sony en Ericsson deden onlangs nog forse investeringen in de gezamenlijke telefoonmaker om het bedrijf draaiende te houden. Als de plannen van Sony en Ericsson uitkomen, is het bedrijf in 2006 de leidende telefoonfabrikant, schrijft Reuters. Daarmee zou Sony Ericsson Nokia, Motorola en Samsung achter zich moeten laten.
Sony Ericsson heeft een marktaandeel van 6 procent, leider Nokia ruim 35 procent. Sony Ericsson verwacht dat de prijzen van mobiele telefoons dit jaar met 10 procent kunnen dalen.
Eind september 2002 lag in Finland Nokia's UMTS-telefoon al in de winkel. Nokia brengt het toestel aan de man in combinatie met een abonnement van Sonera (zie: 'Morgen UMTS-toestel Nokia op de markt').

i just pre-orderred the neonode but too bade it's only for swedish people... i think i'll contact a girlfriend of mine overthere
and dude that thing isn't ugly
shame the P800 is so expensive otherwise i bought as soon as it came out
