OK US CREATONS! THis info is for you. So please READ!

REGARDLESS of TMobiles actions in the Wireless SPectrum Action ... reserved STANDARDIZED bands for 3G in North & South America is:

850Mhz & 1900Mhz (sure its not PRECISELY exact but thats what its rounded off to).

GPRS/EDGE also operates in this same Range.

Cingular operates on these bands but PREFERS 850Mhz;
Rogers Wireless north of the US here in Canada will go live on BOTH 850Mhz & 1900Mhz for UMTS+HSDPA! Its likely Tmobile will do the same as it favors their network setup; based on their agressiveness in the auction.

GOT IT GOOD! Please research before commenting again.

Now for SE to release the P990"A" it MUST be tested & APPROVED by the FCC ... which hasnt happened yet UNLESS we all missed it when the P990i was tested. If we DO see a P990a I'm pretty sure it'll have EDGE but NO N.A. UMTS.

Back on Topic.

P990i owners ... is there another webbrowser currently for the P990i? NetFront?

Also can you clear out default apps to increase the amount of memory for running apps at bootup?!

Not had any problems with music volume on my M600 or P990 with my HBH-DS970 or Sennheiser PX-100s. I use AAC and MP3 encoded at 128kbps. I listen to a lot of reggae (does it surprise you?) and some rock.

Hmm thanks Jah for getting back, strange that is. My music is encoded at 100db via mp3gain and as i said on my k800i it sounds full rich and loud but on the p990i it soudns dull and quite low. Also my mp3s are encoded at 128kbps as well.

Well i still have the other p990i that was sent to me in error so i might try that one and see how that sounds....

edit: hang on though. I just did a full phone power down and statr p and started the game before doing anything else and now it works

sounds like it couldn't start before due to some other influence

It is compatible as a bluetooth headset but does not support audio streaming.

Its only compatible with these handsets:

W950i
M600i
P990i
K610i
K800i
