The only evidence of history repeating itself is you continually being a moron. Give it a rest already.
Yeah, the X10 isn't the perfect phone, but no phone ever is. Of course we all could have waited for newer phones to come out, and they'll probably be better. Usually new technology is better than old (duh). The rest of us are hanging around this thread because we own or are interested in the X10 and want to discuss it in some way or another. You literally serve zero purpose here.

it is true that you cannot catch up with technology, but we should also admit that SE has been somewhat of a late follower of innovations for the last couple of years; e.g. X10 SHOULD have had Android 2.1 and dual-touch as it was released.
Though I am a devout SE fan, there is not a single factor that distinguishes the X10 from its rivals, but there are many options that the rivals offer which X10 does not have. Long story short, there is really no sound reason to prefer this phone over others, and unfortunately, there are many to prefer others to X10.

keyword used above sealover is
'coming'.... yes, they are COMING! The x10 has been on the market for about a month now... new iphone due when, june/july? the dell, Q4...
I fail to see what your getting at???
No idea why you find the need to use the '' smiley 3 times? Clearly you're the only one who thinks you are funny

.... the joke is on you! The only history repeating itself here is you, yet again, showing how much of a douche you really are!
And this is definately the last time i reply to any of your posts, well, unless they are constructive of course... Though that doesnt look like it will be anytime soon.

@sealover,
Your predictions always wrong. And surprisingly many preferred X10 eventhough its coming with 1.6. You should check what 1.6 in x10 can do.

Speak for yourself. The x10 is a brilliant phone which is gaining real traction with consumers.

@aydahm there's plenty about the X10 that distinguishes it from other phones.... why else would so many people choose it over others that DO have Android 2.1 and/or AMOLED screen? I for one could have easily gone w/ the Nexus One, but chose the X10.
1) It's just so damn sexy. There isn't another phone on the market that can match it in design, IMHO.
2) Quality camera with integrated face recognition software. Don't think there is any phone on the market that can match it.
3) Timescape/Mediascape. Don't use timescape all that much but mediascape is very useful. I love the infinity button when listening to music. Saves a lot of time and makes accessing media so much easier.
4) UX Interface - Unique to Xperia Android devices... obvious distinguishes them from the rest.
5) TrackID - sure there are apps available that can do this, but trackID is better and is an SE exclusive.
6) Bright LCD screen that is EASILY visible in direct sunlight... and while it's not a full 16M colors, i haven't missed it. The screen is simply brilliant.
Just a few of the bigger reasons... there's plenty of other reasons as well and i'm sure any X10 owner will agree. The experience of the phone makes it worthwhile and "better" than another phone with similar or even slightly better specs.

^But you cannot deny we could have gotten better specs than what X10 has right now. Like the sound volume, if you watch the X10 video review made by steve from allaboutsymbian.com, the keyboard click is way louder than the audio playback. I just feel that X10 is a very capable device, hardware wise. SE just have to really work hard to utilise it.

Does the .16 firmware help at all with the volume issues? I'm running on .14 and feel like one decent firmware upgrade would pretty much make this phone perfect for me. It's very close as it is. LOVING the Android OS (and what

have done with it) so far.
