Yeah you're right. I think it's part of the media player bug. This is time it makes the background of the main menu disappear..

And Doohan: This is different. It makes the background turn black, it is a bug.

Uff i thought its only my phone But now its another bug ... but how you said ... its some kind of part of a media landscape bug. I didn`t try Master Reset ... but i`m little afraid that i`ll lose some futures :/

I've always had that the grey colour when using the non animated themes, even with the other firmware's... I never thought it was a bug.

doohan try theme that i`ve posted earlier here and you`ll see what are we talking about

Yes me too. I think you lose the HSDPA setting if you master reset. And it is just a genral landscape/background problem i'm guessing. Hopefully R3 firmware isn't too far away...

yeah, well, maybe you don't realize that but you don't have digital camera in your hands. what do you expect? brilliant quality from camphone? be serious man

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I don't expect it to be proper digital camera quality but I do still expect it to be good.

I'm going to try and have a good play with the camera this weekend and take plenty of pics. I can pretty much guarantee right here and now that hardly any of them, if any at all, will be of the quality that I expect them to be.

If people on here think its so good then please, tell me what settings you're using for what picture and I'll try and replicate it.

it looks like it's interpoloated to 5mpix... like they took a 2mpix picture and turned every pixel into a fuzzy hexagon

nice conspiracy theory you have right to not understand photography basics. learn a bit more about ISO, poor light conditions and high ISO influence on details then you'll understand what is 'wrong' with these pics

so how has the new firmware upgraded the overall usability of the phone?

apart from the new media player color bug, which isn't really a huge bug, is the phone now stable enough to be used efficiently?

use this which is the closer combination of this what you can see and what is in 'scenes' menu. observe light amount and if you think it's not enough then use 'twilight' scenes. this is only 20% of good photo. rest 80% is inside your head and it's called 'idea for good photo' i wish you many great shots

BTW. try to keep rule of composition as much as you can. don't use it if you have good reason

I've never been that impressed with the camera settings on theese phones, but by the same token my K850 has never taken a picture anywhere near as bad as the ones above!! are you sure you didn't take them during an earthquake or something!

I haven't had any reboots yet, and the phone seems alot faster overall. Audio quality and loudness is great.
