Sorry forgot to say to jkthewarrior that I had seen an article about the new Vaios getting remote play from the latest PS3 FW:

So Sony are definitely broadening the range of devices, and they have strongly hinted at this at MWC... Everything crossed eh?
Cheers all.

@ Trickois.
I have posted both of Anders260 and rrs_ndrsn comments over on XDA forums.
However, one poster Musse_1 seems to think the device has a Clearpad 1000 screen.

Excellent input guys!
If this is true, I guess I will just wait for Samsung I9000 Galaxy S. I believe it has multi-touch and has the closest spec sheet to X10. Multi-touch is what the UI Interface is all about right now and will be for years. For a high-end device not to have it right now, is not really giving the users a chance to make most out of it.

Multitouch is overrated like front camera.
Would be nice to have with X10 but absence of pinch zoom doesn't bother me at all and I write quite fast with x10's on screen keyboard so why there is a need for multitouch.

I do believe the X10 will be multi touch, i am pretty sure someone will put this idea to rest soon though.

Based on my experience with HTC Dream or G1, single-touch is not for me in using the on screen keyboard. I have to wait for a second or two before I can type in another character unlike on Iphone typing is very swift. Besides, it is not just about typing on screen. With the Android 2.1 and newer versions fully supporting multi-touch, a lot of developers will create applications, which require multi-touch, thus will not work out well in SE's favor. Fewer apllication will be compatible to X10 because of the lack of multi-touch. It will be just like HTC Dream or G1, the very first Android phone, with better specs but still no multi-touch, which in time is just another so-so phone.
I hope so AndyD777. I was able to play with the X10 demo phone at Rogers store. And I am in love at first sight. But the screen doe not impress me that much. I guess it lacks brightness.?

I've never tried a phone with a brighter display. My bet is that the auto brightness was enabled..
Anyway, the X10 is super fast when writing messaging. You don't have to wait seconds to write the next letter - unless you're having trouble finding the key, that is.. It's super fast.

Believing is good. Many believe in God too. Doesn't mean they will ever see him, but still... Keep the faith.

I've had no problems with the keyboard speed. I'm typing fast enough.
Does anybody else get a lot of heads turning and "wow!" comments when using their X10 in public? I've had 5 people stop me just yesterday to ask me about what phone I'm using. Maybe because I've got the rarer in the UK white version that it's turning heads.

What I actually meant was that there is quite a lag when typing on single-touch screen. If it is super fast, that means it supports multi-touch, or at least dual touch.
Again, how about the future applications that require multi-touch? How is SE going to get around with it?

I don't think that fast typing requires multi-touch.
Do you happened to press more than a key on a keyboard?
I don't think so.
