Question: What do you understand as viewfinder in zuza? make me understand in order to modify it accordingly.

Viewfinder, as in what is shown on the screen before taking a shot. Andeo's 7.7 is probably the first camdriver to have this kind of "Realtime" viewfinder quality, similar to Nokia's N-series. imsje's driver, which is basically a modified 7.7 with components of other drivers retained this characteristic.

It's really not a big deal. I just find Zuza's (especially Zuza1's) viewfinder a bit choppy. I guess I kinda got used to Andeo's 7.7 and forgot what the original driver's viewfinder was like. I tried my friend's k750, which had the original 5.3 driver and found out that Zuza's (and every other driver out there)'s viewfinder is the normal.

Try this instead of 7.82

V 7.84
http://www.filefactory.com/file/f996b1/

change exposure, JPEG compress, LED cloudy,15 FPS day 7 night, no SPOT

Ok. Gonna try this out right now.

P.S. - Can you make another one w/ SPOT? Just for testing and comparison purposes only.

Edit: Just tried it a few minutes ago. I don''t have samples yet, but here's what I noticed so far:

Changes:

1. Pictures are noticably brighter. Exposure settings kinda remind me of the original 4.5
2. Increased filesize (approx 30-40kb). Increased image saving time due to increased filesize.
3. AF ok. Macros ok.

Gonna bring this to school tomorrow and monitor how it behaves under other lighting conditions.

man,
if you ask me how... i will ask you to read all the post starting with page 200 till now.. and you'll learn.

if you ask me to change it... will be no problem.. but you'll never learn how to modify to suit your needs. (no max than 17 fps.. otherwise will be crappy video).

VR_NORMAL_MODE_FR=44;
VR_NIGHT_MODE_FR=1c;

Search for that strings of text in the driver. If it's not there.. insert them.

How and what does it means... you'll learn here, reading the posts.

And this way.. you'll never comment that x driver have less y driver have more.. you'll learn how to do it yourself to suit your needs.

OK?!

and .. I know what viewfinder means.. I wanted to know if we speek about the same thing... now i get it and I'll post where to modify and what to do.. in order to be satisfied with your own work... not mine...

(hope this way some mfkrs will cease to comment and dropp their venin. If you can handle reading 300 pages... you can handle modding some text drivers).

I hope will be no more requests.. and for the drivers... on topsony.com you'll find them all... so .. don't ask here anymore... here will be for pictures. comments and new drivers only...

Let's not mess it again.!

Just got home. I tested 7.84 under several conditions (low light, flourescent, combined lighting...) and here are my observations:

1. The grey lines.

The grey lines appear when the camera adjusts to the lighting. It appears more commonly in dimmer lights (like regular bulbs).

In flourescent lighting, it usually starts to appear at -0.7

No problems in daylight + flourescent.

Sometimes it happens in nightmode. Kinda strange, because i used +0 EV and the grey lines didn't appear. Once I used nightmode, they started to reappear.

2. Stability

No problems on auto. I caused it to crash once in nightmode though. I think it has something to do with the balance between sharpness, exposure and jpeg compression. Just a guess.

Gonna try 7.84 with spot tomorrow. It's already nighttime here. Still amazing work, imsje. Good job.

Hello,

I have a problem with the circles I drawed. You can easily see that the sections I circled is blur and the rest is clear. I saw that kind of problems in other pics at the same locations. I use Zuza1. My lens is clean. I want to ask you if ypu have this problem and What can I do?
