I am hoping for a surprise device also. The Next Z Ultra. If not I'll go with the Brown Galaxy Note 8 and wait for the flagship Ultra from Sony if it ever happens...

Even though I have not seen the phone,I can assure you that it is not the real photo.. Mot probably a photoshopped XZ2.. See the upper camera lens.. It's raised slightly and the bottom one is flushed.. Why would one bulge while the other not? Fishy?!

I heard that there is supposed to be a high end device to launch around the time of the Note and this was months back with the knowledge that the XZ2P was supposed to come at MWC. I hope it exists and I hope it uses a new design, we shall see.

They said that, made it seem very obvious that they were/are paid by some manufacturers. I also thought Z1 and more Z series phones were getting high scores because Sony paid them. Same goes with many of today's smartphones, like Huawei, Xiaomi, etc.

What are you talking about? It's obviously just sheer coincidence that they announced an updated methodology to take into account zoom and bokeh (but no other applications of dual cameras) literally the day before the iPhone 8 Plus/iPhone X launch

Both got 95 for their Hybrid AF.
Of course both look grainy at 23MP, any phone would.
Just resize to 12 or 10MP and it will look better than s7.
If Sony had paid them , XZ would have taken the 1st place.
It was easy to see that samples of the review were not same level of X Performance.
Pixel got 90, then Pixel 2 gets 98?
That is weird..
Before they changed protocol, iphone 7 was rated 85.
No way XZ Premium is worse than XZ. The review was poorly done, same for Moto Z2 Force.

The latest XZ3 leaks (specs & pics) seem to be fake.
Regarding DXO, their switch to the new protocol is indeed controversial. They even compared the XZP to the iPhone 8 and Samsung even though the Sony was tested under one protocol and the other two were tested using a different one with a different scoring system. Other than that, their XZP review contradicts itself more than once.
