I download maps for Wayfinder onto my memory card...and after that Wayfinder wouldn't open. Reflashed phone and wayfinder is back.

You will have to download your maps to the same drive (memory card or phone memory) as you put your application on.

I have the C905 on 3, and the wayfinder app doesnt have permissions to move, so its stuck on the phone, and assume maps will fill the phone memory pretty quick? Also doesnt seem to want to find the phone ?

there any alternatives that work on the c905, particularly after some decent os maps, thought wayfinder active might have some decent maps, but dosnt seem too

I can't move my Wayfinder app from phone to memory card either.
Someone said GarminXT works wth the C905. Doesn't have it on the Garmin website...I've emailed them to ask.

You can download the Wayfinder maps from the Wayfinder website

Wayfinder Maploader worked for me...put phone in mass storage mode.

By the way...don't know if you've come across this app...I hadn't...it's called Moby Today and it puts your diary and tasks on the homescreen. It's a bit fiddly to set up...but eventually it works great with the C905. Handy to have your diary events updating where you can see them easily. You get a 20 day trial then it costs $8-ish. Works well.

Agreed, but this issue has to be resolved somehow.

To me it makes a significant difference if I can prepare a trip by getting the maps and reducing the data download to a minimum (especially if abroad since I got unlimited data at home). Wayfinder website is differing between 'WF online' and ' WF preloaded' where preloaded seems not to apply to java phones. After searching the web and being in contact with WF support it seems preloaded is supported for C905 after all.

you should be able to use the theme creator from the SE development team.

Hey guys, I am definately planning on getting one of these, however, one thing always holds me back from using gps on my k850i, no preloaded maps. I always put myself on a pay-as-you-tariff and when heavy data starts hitting my bils, my bank groans. Is there any gps road software that comes with preloaded maps (like nokia maps)?
Thanks, harry
