I think it's about time for Sony to experiment a little, why not develop an EVIL/CSC/SLD with an APS-C sensor and E-mount on it? A NEX-5R powered by Android with decent hardware (Dual Core krait, decent RAM) and that would be sweet

To clear up those who are confused:
Sony
WILL be at MWC in the form of a booth but Sony
WILL NOT be having a press conference to announce new products.
Whether or not Sony will just put the new gear on the stand is up in the air but very rarely has any company not had a press conference but gone on to have new stuff on their stands anyway.
The last I heard was that the announcement of dogo/huashan (possibly others) will be at a dedicated event in March. This is to minimize the announcement to release time.

Oh, okay. So no Sony, Samsung, HTC already announced HTC One and LG did too with Optimus G Pro. Just some mid-range and low-ends from those companies sans Sony, and some biggies from Asus and the Chinese. Not that excited now for MWC.
