Some hours ago I had a chance of reinstaling the FW, now seus says "no update available". Does this mean they are updating the server?

Again I ask: Is the mega bass bug fixed?

The Mega Bass is alot better now. I still wouldn't call it perfect but much better than the last firmware.

It is definately worth updating to the new firmware, anybody who has doubts shouldnt, the pros out weigh the cons easily.

The pic below was taken on my K850 today with the below settings, its not very sharp but its the best one I've taken so far by a long way.

Shoot Mode - Normal
Scenes - Landscape
Picture Size - 5MP
Focus - Infinite
Flash - Off
ISO - Auto
Metering Mode - Normal
White Balance - Daylight

The ones below were all taken on my K800. Judge for yourself but I think they're better, especially when you consider its a 3.2MP.

well maybe look at "post your pictures taken with k850" thread and see that the one you took with the k850 isn't that good.
No offense tho, your k800 pics do look good

Well that K850 pic is by far the best I've taken.

I have seen good pics taken with it but christ knows how cause I've tried all sorts of different settings and can't get anything I can even begin to call good.

EDIT - Just had a look in that thread. How the hell are some of those pics so clear?! I concede that those are good pics but I still won't be satisfied until I can get pics like that

phone is off. well... i really wanna update from the GPRS but it says i have the lastest software already (R1CAO37) which i know it's not. but it doesn allow me to update form the GPRS. so ... all i can do is update from the cable.
please help

Do it via cable. It's safe.

1. Off your phone.
2. Remove and reinsert battery. (Do not switch on)
3. Run SEUS Update Service
4. Select K850
5. Follow on-screen instructions.

it still not working. what did i do wrong?
normally how long do i hold the C key and get to see the update?

Well, what i try to use is (might not be the best but it works for me)

* Use AUTO for indoors with flash, when the subject is pretty close (e.g. a person, an object)
* Use Twilight portrait for indoors with flash, when the shot is more a general shot..like your room.
* Use document mode + -0.3/-0.7 EV+ Daylight WB for outdoor shots with enough sunlight.
