a = America, c = China
so, only 3 left:

C905 R1AA083 CID110 - (27 items)
C905 R1BA034 CID52 - (44 items)
C905 R1BA038 CID52 - (26 items)

first is BROWN firmware which means version for developers and you have to keep away your phone from it. second and third are retail versions (third is newest) and you should select from these two

Service info -> Software info

first line in whole text should describe your firmware version

hey folks

hope your rebranding works robbie.

anyway, have rad a fair bit of this uber thread and have to say thanks for all the info. I got my C905 the other day on Orange (UK). Was well peeved that the Wifi didn't work, but thanks to a visit to Davinci I now have an unbranded phone, and Wifi works, hooray!

However, one thing I still can't figure out..... How do I connect my phone to my pc via Wifi? As in so I can copy files etc to it? I have 3 machines on my network all working fine, and have changed the workgroup name in my phones settings. Have enabled the network sharing but am now stumped.

If anyone knows then I'd love to know.

Thanks

reflash to R1AA if you find it. (that what i should do right away if i had c905),

sooooo, have anyone tried KK and have a look inside the client ??? (i think you will find R1AA firmware there)

----------------------------------------

edit... you dont have print all >#
to see your firmware; "settings" - "update information"...much quicker.

I used Davinci to flash the C905 WESTERN EUROPE R1BA038 CID52 firmware on my phone and it works perfectly. I'm in the UK.
You can leave the sim and memory card in. Just make sure to hold down the C key when you connect the cable

Hi Robbie
Just seen your message.
Use the latest firmware.
Select Generic ( put tick on Davinci client box)
Go down list..I think it was the C905 CUSTOMIZED WESTERN EUROPE R1BA038 CID52 that was second from the bottom of the list...that's the one I used. Don't think there's any difference between that one and the last one on the list.
It takes about 5 mins. You may need to remove your battery and put it back in at the end to restart your phone.
The phone will then boot up...it takes quite some time...blue timer thing going across the bottom of the screen...but just leave it...it will work.
Hope that helps
