I think you have not configured access point in the mobile. So go to "Connectivity" in the main menu. There you should see a option like "Access point in use". Enter airtelfun.com.

n its default settings so its already written but then also i m not able to browse any site thru phone . its not connecting ....
i dont know why its happening it was once connected but not its not connecting i have checked all the settings ! all the settings r correct but now wat the matter i think airtel have barred the service ..... i think so .. but i m not sure is there any way now puh lease do tell me guys thanx n really aln u r a gem so nice of u !

i m able to browse airtelworld.com from my cell but i m not able to connect the phone to my pc ..... that error is coming again n again even airtelfun.com is written there ... in APS ...

now wat to do ??

hai friends, i have one new problem. i got very weak signal in my room. i got good singal in all other rooms in my house. if there is any way to increase the signal? I have samsung x660.

dude i tried your freedom ...i did all the steps u said.but i was not able to find an application tab in your freedom.how can i configure yahoo messenger and firefox to use your freedom.your freedom is up and running but how to select the applications that must use y-f..???
dude shud i install yur frdm before or after connecting to airtel.the message windos is not showing the results as u mentioned is does not show authenticated...wht wil b wrong ..pls help ...

Are u getting "Subscribe to GPRS first" error now? If yes, then surely there is a incorrect access point problem. As per my knowledge, PPP error comes authentication problems. Have u checked your service settings correctly. In Nokia PC suite, there is a option, "Connect to the Internet". I am showing you some of those screenshots. If these works, then no problem. If not, sorry dude. I don't know more than this. I tried my best to help you.

1) Select your Modem :



2) Select Configure the connection manually



3) Enter the Parameters and click Finish



4) Click Connect in the same "One touch Access" window. After that you should get this. Otherwise, as I said before, I'm Sorry!!



I hope you will succeed in this. Good luck.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Even though you are using PC suite for this method, but you must disconnect from PC suite before trying this.

If you are connected successfully without any errors, but still not able to browse all website, reply here. You have to do another thing for this.

@alan i'm having trouble with my 7250i, it gets stuck at the registering your computer screen and then disconnects giving a connection error. But there is no problem with my T310 and K700. Is really necessary to install the nokia suite? BTW i'm trying to configure mobile office and not spartan's free gprs. Any help appreciated.

while opening any site in browser i m getting this msg ..... i have changed browser setting means i have set proxy settings but then also i m getting this error msg in both browser ???

Hi msum,

The error can mean only one thing. You have not tried to access any site on your mobile AFTER the connection is established.

What you have to do is, once the connection is established, pick up the mobile and try to access any site from the bookmarks.(ie.) Click the Globe icon and select any site.

Tell me if you get some message like "you need to disconnect the previous connection" or something like that.

did u configure your freedom if so can u explain the method.i did wht spartan said but failed .i didnt find the option for setting which programs to use your freedom moreover am not authenticated to the y-f server ,i had given the ryt username and passwd that i used to register with your-freedom.wht is wrong buddy ..pls help ..i hav probs with yahoo msngr thats y am asking..pls help..
