Hey guys! My P990i is very stable! R9...Weeks without single restart! No single problem! What else do you want? There is nothing good like P990i availble on the market.

Something weird happened to me.. i need to do 3 times master reset to get my virtual keyboard appears. But now after upgrade my CDA/8 wow.... it's super fast and i don't think i need to use SM pro again... i need to check further to see if any other bugs... at least now my P990 can open enough applications without kernel error.. hahahaha..... I'm now a satisfied users like Ares and some others...

Why are some phones so stable while others with the same firmware so unstable?

i actually think its a batch issue. all people here like guy, ares, joel and me that have sim free, cda 1 and first release batch phones have no issues. same goes for other people that imported their phones from scandinavian countries on the release week. all other branded phones and international cda's seem to have different types of issues.

Seems to make sense. So it is a firmware issue then. my phone seems to a /2 phone and reboots about once in 2 days always on an incoming call.

I need help, I am new to SEP990i, I have no idea re anything about the phone but I just wanted to upgrade the firmware to the latest version coz it has the Stone Age version. (R2A05)
I downloaded those latest firmware but not able to install them, it kept telling me that I am missing sthg and not able to install the latest frimware.
Anyone can help plz?

thanks for your quick reply. I think I better clarify one thing, when I tried to install the firmware, I used the SE PC Suite for Smartphone. But I noticed that the instruction from the forum saying we should use the Download Language function from the PC Suite. But I couldn't, coz when I use the DL function button I would not able to locate the AE_CXC162036_R4A13.sis file from my harddrive.
Instead, I use the Application Installer or just double click the R4A13.sis file than I got the msg saying I need the "SEP990 LanguageID - Version 3.o"
I hope I explained it well!!!
