Can anyone who owns a K850i quickly help me with my query?
Does it have 'Timed Profile' like Nokias?
(I have tried searching, I know the older software phones didn't have this feature.)
Can't find any timed profiles on mine..

new bug (?)
birthday reminders do not seem to be copy-able into the k850. even if i press edit and save it again, it does not come up on my calendar. new birthdates entered, however, do get placed into the calendar. so now, even if i were to manually go through my contacts list and re-edit the birthdate, i can't get reminders on my calendar. any cure, anyone?
I had that problem when I got a replacement K850, contacts restored from the M2 had the birthdays but did not insert it into the calendar.
To fix it I had to go through all the contacts manually, delete the birthday, save the contact, then re-add the birthday.

I had to do the same. Hopefully they will fix this issue with the new firmware too.

You can change the soft keys by going to 'menu' 'settings' 'short cuts'.
I don't think you can change the soft keys by doing that. You can change the D-pad keys by doing that though.

AFAIK, the SE's do not have the timed profile options. If I remember right, my Nokia N80 did not have the timed profiles either.

I had my K850 replaced today for the 5th time. CPW must thing I'm mad!
It's week 43 build and has software version RC1A037.
The camera is noticeably better; there's no lag anymore when using the viewfinder and the flash issue is definitely fixed.
It feels solid, dare I say even more so than the last. I have a good feeling about this one.
Also just added Web'n'Walk to my T-Mobile plan, so it's a good day!

It's not available on SEUS and it probably won't be, but new handsets are coming with it now. It fixes the ridiculous issues, e.g. flash, that should never have existed at launch. When a new firmware is released on SEUS, I suspect it'll be a more significant update.
