@masseur: Maybe the "external speakers" are the phone speaker? They are on the outside. Kind of.

@shadwellal: SE have removed that feature and I don't think anyone really knows why, as surely its user choice to have it! The best you can do is while it's in sleep mode, hit a volume key and you should see see what you want until the screen dims again.

ok.. so why put a 3.2MP cam? why not put, at least, an auto focus? why not just stick wit the 2mp or sumthin? just to make the price higher, maybe?? imo, it a completely waste or money.. but then again, its about everyone's preferences.. looks can be deceiving.. if people will get this phone, i think they are just paying for the design and not the features...

Peace!

MMm, may be this is the reason... The cost to include the software to capture a 3.2 MP equals to the cost of getting a 2MP camera now. Then it make sense to do this "no cost upgrade" for marketing purpose.

Then why not the AF feature in the phone? May be the cost of doing an AF feature in the phone is minimal BUT if the Walkman series got the 3.2 MP AF camera inside, then who will buy the K series then? Marketing people think in "Product differenciation ways" so W = Walkman no AF, K = AF, Flash, but no fancy walkman functions. Then you will buy 2 x phones from SE.

Yes people generally judge things by the look. And that is why SE phones are great.

ok.. i get the first part.. but the 2nd one.. errr.. it's kinda like sayin' that SE is misleading us pr something.. or maybe im juz sleepy..

i'm afraid that the video recording fps won't be corrected and the white paper is providing wrong info.

K850 had this issue but in fact; it's videos were actually 30fps but each 2 frames were recorded twice... resulting a practical 15fps (that was clearly a bug)

W890 does not have 30 frames per second in the video (unlike K850.. which had) so i think it can not be fixed.

but this not the only case... in the W760 white paper it is also stated that the video is QVGA 30fps.... i think that is another mistake too.
