Please let me know if ther's a way to update from BROWN --> RED certificate color to get this fixed.

you must convert brown to red with setool 3 box or on some service center
i don't have Brown firmwares

No wonder I was getting nowhere with my C902 update... Do you happen to know if KulanKendi or DaVinci or any other online Service Center can get this fixed?
Also, please let me know if RED Certificate Color means that is intended to be used only in a RED color device, or is it just a developer terminology that has nothing to do with the actual color of the unit. By the way, my mobile is BALCK color. Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm trying to get everything cleared up.

I'll keep looking, unless someone from this community knows how to do it, or a workaround solution.

use ultimate unlocker to convert brown certificate to red
i don't know it's free

I was able to succesfully convert it from BLUE to RED using D-Ultimate Unlocker v3.07. I had to choose the following:
Phone Model: C902
SecurityZone operation: No lock change
Checked: Repair EROM / SEMC Boot
Checked: Show codes
Set certificate to: Red
Then got the following:

red, brown, blue are certificates
red - for normal users
brown - for developers
blue - factory phones
seus recognizes only RED phones
if a2 uploader with identify shows:
retail = red
developer = brown
