I still reckon N8´s pics are way better than Satio´s.

Davidsic says that the N8 has "unaccepable" blurry corners. What about this Satio shot:

Even though the N8 presents the same corner softness issue, it has undoubtedly much wider dynamic range and also manages to provide better detail (even with less focal distance).

Satio also suffers a lot from coloured fringing.

Here´s the N8 shot:

Another thing to note from Satio is that it outputs slightly oversaturated colours, when compared to the N8:

Satio´s shot (look how the green of the grass seem to change colour from left to right):

N8´s (definitely more natural shot):

Noisy pictures? When you have near ISO-800 pictures, what else one would expect from such small sensors?

What about this shot? Look at the resolution it kept even @ ISO 750:

Sorry, i was talking about the 3x ZOOM in video, which is as good as optical lens quality.

@VIT
excellent comparison Vit!
The Satio's colors are so off and inaccurate when compared to the N8, people have to be blind not to see this.
The green grass is multi colors, and looks fluorescent in the Satio pics.
N8 also managed to capture more detail in clouds while Satio totally over exposed the sky.
Its just not an accurate representation of what the scene looked like.

If your cool with having your pics post processed to make them look better even though it no longer captures the scene anymore, then good for you, and be happy with Satio.. but for me, i want an accurate representation of what the scene looked like.. if i want over saturated colors, I can just turn on vivid mode for N8.

Yes we're nuts Like i said N8 is probably better than Satio for many reasons but take a look at pics comparison posted by KimbaDWL here : http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=198119&start=420 some are warmer colour with N8 LOL

Yes Satio produce more noise in low light but for daylight pics is still good even compared with the N8.

Personnaly i find colours with n8 a bit too colder. That's my opinion.

A member of a french forums bought N8 and resold within a few days (he's a iPhone 4 users)

I personally keep my satio for his camera with xenon, however the iphone 4 is already very good for a simple 5mp cam. My iPhone 4 is for everyday use.

Sorry, but from all pics that KimbaDWL has posted, almost all of them show a much warmer N8... Just an example:

Satio (besides the colder colour tone, look how terrible purple fringing looks like here):

N8:

How in tha freaking hell can you compare captured noise with two completely different photos? -.-'

This discussion is a nonsense. N8 is a better camera because it has a larger sensor (so, less noise in both daylight low-light), has adjustable and tweak-able image settings, does not have chromatic aberrations, does not over-exposures highlights and has a 28mm wide lens with no distortion.

No agree. N8 principle have big blur on right side or many other places. Sensor is BEST but optics is WORSE. I don't understand how Zeiss made a such bad optics?
