Great looking phone, I prefer the white version.

@bono. Don't forget to download the free EA games from the SE site.

Ah you got one too?? So you got the upgrade price did you??

Yup, upgrade price. Used my wifes Orange phone number, now running on "3" network since currently Phones 4U are selling totally unlocked phones. Have read a warning from a P2U employee that there may be a "lock to first SIM inserted" batch coming in soon, no idea if true or not.

First impressions are very favourable. Sure it creeks a bit, slider is a bit wobbly when closed etc. But after coming from at-Mobile pulse this is a delight. Working camera that can actually scan barcodes, multi touch screen, can run flash, has enough space to fit more than 6 apps on, ICS upgradable, etc, etc. And the battery life is OK for a smartphone too. Oh, and it can play games

It may not be the best android phone out there. But it surely has to be best value if you can put up with it being a bit chunky. I'd certainly not swap with the Mrs Orange San Francisco.

I realised now the slider is supposed to wobble slightly when closed. It's put on solidly as it's rock solid when open it's just it's only got the sliders the one side. And mine does not creak at all. When I had the black one I just hated it got mucky in seconds

Yes had a browse last night. What I wanna know is the additional data to download on some games already built in,is there a way of over riding having to download it via Wi Fi?? I don't have Wi Fi in the home & it seems a pain having to go out & do it. I managed Fifa download via network. This video makes the device look nice with the screen looking good.

Well if you have two unlocked Androids running 2.3, put your sim in the Galaxy and connect the Play to it using WiFi. That's one way around it I guess.
