Really, they don't have to do that if they aren't even trying to fit in to 2019 phones, in design and camera (and possible other aspects that we don't know yet).
That better be the Xperia L3. The leaked XA3 series look much better than that piece of garbage. The XZ4 looks even better than all of them, but how can the XZ4c look like that.
I'm so pissed, they'll never learn from their terrible mistakes. Exactly who is running the mobile division in that company?

I think it has 18:9 screen.
I don't think it has oled, due to the thickness value. Unless battery is bigger than xz2c.
Early leaks suggest 23MP for xa3, so same 19MP would not surprise me. They did not presented a better sensor than imx400 so far.
But it's still early, imx400 showed up 3 weeks before MWC only.
According to my taste:
1) Pro
- Omnibalance
- No notch
- No screen hole ( that is way more ridiculous than notch)
- Probably does not have DVS
- Dual FFS
-Headphone jack
- Sided FPS
2) Cons
- It looks entirely plastic ( I prefer glass, but at least it is not metal)
- No aube
- Screen % seems to be almost 70 only, I prefer 77
Has anyone here heard a rumor of two Compacts, one midrange for Japan and one global flagship ? I think I saw this while ago.
Weibo maybe, I do not remember...

All they had to do was make the XZ2 Compact thinner and add the 3.5mm jack, nothing more was required....pure disappointment from this company. They always have a major compromise in every phone they produce. There will be better options out there with a similar size but much bigger screen so why even bother with this. I'll wait for it to become official but I don't see a XZ5, 6, 7 or 8 being anything worth waiting for.

I don't think they can make XZ2c thiner. The sales of compact series aren't good. OLED are much expensive than LCD. They will bump up the price if they do that. For such a small phone, missing dual camera is just fine. The bezel is fine for me. I don't like all-screen. Need space to place my finger.
