Of course Sony would put a 2.2mm alongside 3.5 and 4.4. Two jacks is already pretty damn unlikely, but adding a third obscure 2.2? Clearly a fake / fantasy design by someone.

This 2.2mm is microphone, not 3rd jack according to him.

Rumors are piling up. The only possible dead giveaway that something is going on is the Fall update that will bring Video Pro features. This is very similar to what they did with PRO-I by debuting Video Pro app.

Translation : Superwide and periscope with 1/2.3" exmor T. Periscope changes to 70-200mm, main cam is same.
Consedering what this tech can do, I would not feel surprised if a 1/2.3" exmor T can match or even outperform a 1/1.56" imx766/890/lyt700 at light gathering capabilities.

Apple just released dedicated pro video app for their phones. Sony does not have pro video on their newest phone. Product planners are bad at Xperia, sometimes two steps ahead of the competition amd then they go three steps behind in order to consolidate with competition.
