@masseur So when you unlocked the V800 did it work ok with another sim card? I am going to try it with them tomorrow, seeing as our company has a corporate account with Voda. I will try the do you know who I am tactic.

actually I didn't get as far as trying another sim card as I didn't get to bring it to germany with me having decided already not to keep it. I see no reason why it wouldn't work since all the locks were then open although you are stuck with certain predefined vodafone accounts etc

I haven't seen any other reviews myself and though I didn't include a night shot in my review I did take a few (which unfortunately I didn't keep).
the light seems brighter than the MPF-10 flash (I have no experience with the S700) but still has much the same useful distance, i.e. not very far, perhaps 2-3m and the colours aren't that great when taken with the flash.

Whats the deal with the MP3 ringtones and the V800? Does it suppoort normal ring tones that you get off the internet? or do you have to do some type of conversion process?

you didn't read my review, did you?

see my sig where you can find out about this and there is also a link to the thread discussing it
it has the same issues on Vodafone that the S700 and K700 have.

well, these comments have been made over and over and repeating them doesn't seem to change a thing.
there is a simple work around which most people seem happy with
