@skyswoop
Same with me too, although I used version 1.30 of the client both times, all the latest R2AA files left me with CDA /0 and no

update use. Then flashed with the "old"
decustomise_firmware.K7S file using the repair/debrand tab, then flashed with the "old" ZONE 1/EU_1 K7S/K7L/K7C R2L files using the upgrade/language tab.
Result - CDA /16 and

update available to use. (not bothered about T9 cos i can only txt in english anyway)
Cheers,
Col.

it's definitely correct, your oberservation. At first: Great service from the TS-Team!
I was debranding using the 1.30-Client and noticed the CDA-Appendix "/0" - and - couldn't use the SE Update-Service anymore. After reading your posting, i flashed the phone *again* with the 1.27-Client and Procedure ("debranding firmware"), and had afterwards a R2L001-Phone without T9-Dictionary (a known bug in the 1.27-Client), but with an CDA-Appendix of "/20". Now the SE Update-Service worked again. I updated it then again using TotalServer-Client 1.30 with the Upgrade/Language-Procedure (not the "Repair/Debrand"-Procedure) to R2AA003 (because of the missing T9) and - there you are - the phone's firmware is R2AA003, i have a CDA-Appendix of "/20", SE Update-Service seems to work (wants to downgrade it again, i guess SE pulled the official R2AA003 back...) but i didn't get the errormessage "your operator blabla" again.
It looks to me, as if the "Repair/Debrand"-Feature (especially the default Language Files) of the R2AA003-Version are causing this CDA-Problem... As totalserver writes, these files are identical to the original ones, maybe that's one of the reasons why they stopped the official update procedure?
Hello,
I have debranded my vodacrap 700i phone. I can't use se update. But you talk about CDA numbers. I can't see them in my phone.
This is what I see
R2AA003(I flahed it with TS 1.30)
PRGcxc 125821_EU_1_C
CXC 125 813 R1T
Customiziation
CXC125822 R2L001EU_1
Where do I have to look for CDA number.
And Skyswoop. What did you exactly do when you reflashed to R2L001. Does it cost a credit or was it just downgrading firmware.
I'm confused with all this information.
BTW. I bought a realy cheap datakabel(er t28) and I did the debranding due the battery trick. It works. The guy who sold me the kabel says that it was not a servicekabel.

Hey guys. I'm new as poster here, but have been enjoying reading this forum for a long time.
Can anyone point to where I can get the 1.27 and 1.28 versions of the client? Also is any Swedish readers here, where in Sweden can I get a T28 Service cable?
Cheers

@bohr2003
This is what my software info looks like:
R2L001
prgCXC 125821_EU_1_C
LCD SW versions
Main Display
Current: 200406041
Camera SW versions
Camera
Current: 3.9
ITP SW version
CXC 125 813 R1T
Customization

CDA 102286/16 R2A
cxc 125822 R2L001
EU_1
The CDA number should be the first thing listed under the "Customization" heading. As you can see I have the /16 code and can use

update service.
Cheers,
Col.

@anderz
Don't know about Sweden, but I got my T28 service cable from here:
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/1918.htm
They deliver to anywhere in Europe for £4.50 which would bring the total cost to £14.45 which is about 189SEK at the current exchange rates.
Hope this helps,
Col.

well i got my cable this morning everything went beautifully till it was 'Enabling functionalities....' on the DEFAULT LANGUAGE section, when I got:-
Error reading from server!
Error occoured: 0x002B65
I have emailed the screen grab to FaceOff for my credit. Does anyone know what caused this and what will I have to do next when I get my credit? Do I have to reupload the K7S file first and then the K7D file or just the K7D file. Many thanks

@dr_sy
You will probably have to do both files again.
Did you flash them both at the same time or one after the other?
What OS are you running?
Do you have a DSS-25 sync station connected to your PC?
When I did mine I flashed the files separately, K7S then K7D. The instructions on the TS client says to do both at the same time, whereas on the TS website the instructions say to do one file at a time.
I am running XPSP2, apparently TS runs best on XP.
I do have a DSS-25 but before I started flashing the phone I shut down my PC and disconnected both the DSS and my bluetooth dongle to avoid any possible COM port conflicts. I also disabled Norton AV in the system tray, tried to have as little running in the background as possible.
I have flashed the phone successfully three times with no errors doing it this way.
Hope you get your phone working again soon!
Cheers,
Col.
