Season's greetings to you too, ambyzown.
Regards to all in the 9ja forum as well.
Glad to see esato is up and running again. Was down for the longest stint that I can remember.
Almost thought that I somehow made Laffen the 'moer in' again...but realised there was a more generic problem when I couldn't access esato on one of the other pc's in the house.

Tried to see King Kong this morning but the cinema in Kimberley is only expecting it in two months.

Guess what.Today I had no choice but to put unleaded petrol in my caravelle. In a developed country the minister of minerals and energy should have been replaced and charged with incompetence, but this is Africa and that's why I am here.Adventure is always around the corner and comes unexpected.Does anyone know how much is the averiege traffic bribe in Natal? I bet you Eastern Cape is cheaper :-) You think I joke ? Think again . . . and again . . . Festive greeting from a 'semi dry' Jeffreys. Mario.

@mario: I don't often come to the defense of the government but I feel ur attack on Lindiwe Hendricks is unwarrented. The oil industry last week admitted that they messed up...Why should she resign?
While we're on fuel issues, did you guys hear the joke that on hearing about our troubles Uncle Bob said he would release millions of litres of petrol from Zim's strategic stockpiles

@krypsta: It's quite bad at night. Today we had a light thunder shower.

A few tanks of leaded/unleaded won't do damage to an engine, not to any significant extent. One may experience a very minor amount of pinking or run-on if you've used a different octane, but nothing drastic. Some tuning should sort out older cars which use mostly leaded fuel, according to the Motor Manufacturers Industry. In fact, there are 7 garages in the Eastern Cape area who've indicated that they'll tune older engines for free.

Oh,the cricket...
So Rudolph and co managed to hold Warne et al at bay long enough to force a draw.
A few very poor umpiring decisions didn't help matters during this test either.
Plan to finish the very last of the Christmas shopping tomorrow;hate the last minute rushes and hordes of people swarming the shops.
