Finally this weekend my w800 let me down when it died. It was hit by the white screen bug.
I had the RN035 fw. I sent it to the service provider for them to device what they going to do.
I hope I'll get the better fw.
Why are these fw so buggy? We, customer are working as testers now.

2.. Why does seus 2 go through the whole update proceedure only to give the same firmaware version I alread yhad? Surely it should read my version adn tell there is nothing new avaialble?

I have the same problem, but my cellphone is a W600 and my PDA is a Lifedrive, so I dont know if the problem is the phone or the PDA, actually I haven't found the answer.

I was suffering from white-screen of death or whatever it's called so I updated my firmware, now my W800i locks up so often now it's unusable. SE need to fix this now!
And yes, SEUS is a stupid program for not checking the firmware version already on your phone.
SE need to get a grip because I can't use my phone!

Just got off the phone with a tech support guy at a central SE repair centre, he kept on referring to the latest firmware release as R1AA0
28, so when I enquired about it he said that indeed a new version is out but as of yet it's only installed only at certified SE centres. Could it be that a new firmware version is indeed out and how long before its released in the wild (DaVinci and SEUS II)?

If you are correct it is odd that they have not incremented the AA section of the FW name, it might just be there are only very minor changes.

after upgrading, i noticed i sometimes miss some sms messages. this usually happens when a message comes in and i pressed a key at the same time. when you look in the inbox, there is no new meesage there. very annoying.. anyone else experience this so far?

I've been following this thread with interest. Although I haven't read EVERY page, I've read about a dozen pages and I'm considering upgrading the firmware on my K750i (assuming that I even can.)
I am on Rogers (Cingular) in Canada, and am currently on firmware R1N035 and my Sofware information indicates that the product originated in Hong Kong (or at least it originated with HK software.)
