hey guys, the phone i just bought was from a guy who had it as a free upgrade from orange. However, the device has orange markings on it and it is bronze, does mean it is one of the few that don't come simlocked and no branded software?

I've managed to snap one of these up on an Orange upgrade. Very happy with it so far although I haven't had much of a play as of yet. One thing I've noticed, I can't find wayfinder on it. The only option under 'location services' is orange maps which is unavailable at the moment.

Any other Orange users found this?

I've found amazegps which works free of charge apparently. Anyone any experience of using that?

Are you sure it's totally free of charge? Usually operators will still charge you for the data connection required by GPS, and to some people it may not be a bang for the buck.

the maps are free, but you have to pay for data usage.

Back to a question I asked a few pages back, can you get GPS software with preloaded maps? (like nokia maps)

edit:
ive been going throught trekbuddy quite abit now..and it seems to be the best application for offline/preloaded maps
you can make your own maps too - one of the applications features - you could call it a feature..
just go through the forums of the first link i gave for trekbuddy

If you check the C905 shots taken with an INNOV8 I posted a few pages back, you can also see that the INNOV8 now takes very good indoor shots. Any idea of what happened to C905's camera unit? Don't tell me it's yet another rushed product...

Dude, please, the C905 takes great pics and the firmware is rock solid, nothing happened to the camera unit, it's better out of the gate then any camera SE has ever put out, period. I have taken 400 pics and they're great.
