creatouch should be out this week...
it won't be on the market cause it's a sony ericsson exclusive app. it should come as part of a software update or downloadable via the SE website.

The video for creatouch on the se product blog (I think it's there) says it should ship with the phone but obviously it wasn't ready in time. It'd be nice to see it soon. Although I myself probably won't use it it's a really interesting tool.

Ok guys, this is pobably going to be my only post for the day...The X10 arrived today and there is only one word to describe it: WOW!
It is simply amazing. My first try with Android so I am on a fairly steep learning curve but the on-phone user guide is 1st class.
The sheer volume and quality of Apps, free ones is amazing.
Now I know that both of these points could hold true for any Android handset, but I really am struck by how pretty she is..Just feels great in the hand too. Also loving the lock simply by tapping the power button...But I am mildly paranoid that the lovely screen feels very vulnerable, so I will probably invest in that Noreve case fairly soon..
@Goldenface, did you order that Durasec liquid. Years of playing guitar let me know my fingertips won't be very screen-friendly and it seems such a shameto look at that great screen full of smudges..Maybe I should just buy some white cotton gloves? Incidentally I used the old fashioned Sim card method to get my contacts onto the X10 and noticed that it's screen was nearly as badly smudged. I guess you just notice it more on the X10 because the screen is sucha focal point.
Unfortunately the phone came with no spare screen protectors, an MH500!?! and an unbranded 8GB card. Funny how last year I was happy to pay for an 8GB card and this year I feel short changed when a free upgrade phone comes with only 8GB...
For those who wanted to know, the phone paired fine with my HCB 300 and all sound was handled by the car rig, but there was no way of voice dialling with the HCB 300, which I used to do with my C905.
Lastly a question, my phone is Orange Branded, but mercifully the case is untouched and there is nothing really to tell you that in use, apart from Orange World. However I am on Baseband 1.0.14; R1FA014 and
semc-android@SEMC#2.
I have tried to update via the phone but without success, if I borrow a PC and update in that manner should the build update, as everyone says it's better? Or do I need to unlock from Orange/wait for them to approve it and do it OTA.
Thanks all
What a phone?

Hi guys!
There will be a new firmware, and it contains some new features such as small ui improvements in timescape and mediascape and the creatuch app. This firmware is blazing fast and very much improved from .016. The battery time is also improved and it seems that the screen resolution looks better too. Also the face-recognition is very much improved. There is also a nice "slide" animation when browsing through pictures. All in all, this is probably what SE had in mind when releasing X10, and all I can say is that it's really good and I'm very pleased.
So if there's someone out there who's not sure to buy this phone because of the minor problems that's know in 0.14 firmware, I can almost guarantee you that this will fix them all and make you very pleased with the performance of the X10
