Dude, please, the C905 takes great pics and the firmware is rock solid, nothing happened to the camera unit, it's better out of the gate then any camera SE has ever put out, period. I have taken 400 pics and they're great.

Haven't tried it myself but from what I saw and heard, I think it has the most balanced camera amongst the 8MP-touting boys. Was just saying that I'm surprised by the quality of INNOV8's cam on those photos (which are, ironically, of a C905).

In fact I'm waiting for its price to settle down a bit!

If you want a fully featured Symbian smartphone, the i8510 is the best S60 device you're going to get. It takes excellent photos in good light, reasonable ones in low light - and not very good ones in very, very low light (the LED isn't strong enough to light very far). It also records excellent video and can play DivX video.

But, the C905 is an excellent non-smartphone (although it does multitask, so in many respects it's just as good if you're not really bothered about the huge library of applications or opening and editing documents). I do wish SE would develop a simple document reader, as Samsung and LG have done on their non-smartphones. If you could open a .doc, .xls or .pdf then I think many people would be quite happy without a smartphone at all!

By the way...don't know if you've come across this app...I hadn't...it's called Moby Today and it puts your diary and tasks on the homescreen. It's a bit fiddly to set up...but eventually it works great with the C905. Handy to have your diary events updating where you can see them easily. You get a 20 day trial then it costs $8-ish. Works well.

Just to let you know...I paid for this app by PayPal and have had no response from the seller....no registration code..and no response to emails asking where it is.
Just to warn you...it's a nice app but I may have just wasted $8. Anyone had any contact with them?

The site doesn't appear to have been updated in ages, so I wonder if they're still supporting it or developing it?

Wouldn't mind getting a registration code...the trial runs out in two days!

And there was certainly no problem in them accepting a PayPal payment!

So true. It would seem like a very good move. Especially given how good multi-tasking is on SE's A series platforms
