I would appear that branded phones are not receiving the update yet so you have to either wait for Orange or debrand. I thinks that's right anyway.

i would LOVE to get an updated firmware for my x10a.... i curious if battery performance will improve. I keep checking the update service every day... no such luck unfortunately.

Yeah I definitely would not mind a firmware update. Not that I have any horrible issues with the phone but it's only gonna get better as it gets the updates.
On second thought, I really would like the ear piece sound quality to see an improvement. Still loving the phone though!

I guess the update for X10a will come around May. Rogers has a teaser ad for Social View (not sure what is it about) that will be unveiled soon.
