Just saw somone using a JasJar- only one thing came to mind...it's massive.
I mean I sometimes look awkward with my precious but the JasJar is something else alltogether.

Plz explanate this to my befuddled Festive Season mind- my cousin had his 6610 nicked, so the insurance gives him a R2500-max to choose another phone. He's been admiring my phone's Symbian capabilities for a while, so he ultimately narrowed his choice down to a W800, 3230 and a 6822. What does the numpty choose? The 6822 :-l because it flips open. Some people....

I have received 2 emails from Handango, who contacted the game developers directly, who in turn sent me 2 emails regarding the 2 games I ordered from Handango.
Herewith part of the 2 emails:
Email 1:
Thank you for choosing OmniGSoft's 3D game and sorry for the trouble!
You can download the updated version from the link below. It will support SPV c550. Please sownload it as soon as possible and let us know. Thank you!

Email 2:
We are sorry for the trouble!
The SPV C550 is a fairly new smartphone with Windows Mobile 5.0 OS and a QVGA display. The sportsbike hasn't been updated for the QVGA display yet.
What we can do for you is to provide our 3D Volcano Island for free and keep you updated about the Spostsbike, we will provide you a updated version when is becomes available.
Hope you like the solution.
Thank you!
Kind regards,
Technical support,
OmniG Software Inc.

Now I know why the games weren't loading properly. Anyway, I am pleased that they have been quite pro-active in trying to solve the problems and seem keen to maintain customer satisfaction.
The game that does work now (email 1) is very well-detailed, with a host of settings and options to vary the rich gameplay,as I expected it to be.
@ Kryptik,
Ignorance is apparently bliss,(not in my book, but anyway..) although if your cuz had the opportunity to try out all 3 of those handsets,or did a bit more research before deciding, he may indeed have come to his senses...

Big up to Handango!! I agree with you, W, not terribly often that you come across that type of service.

@da krypsta: Your cousin should be hit over the head with a papsnoek...I mean the 68** is possible one of my least favourite Blokias...probably due to the Series 40 OS...why couldn't they just put Series 60 innit and it would be a proper business phone.

@ brix,
Just got back from the supermarket and didn't forget to look closer at the specs of that el cheapo DVD recorder.
Only DVD+R and DVD+RW and no mention of nicam stereo...but ready to set up Dolby Pro Logic. With '5.1' home cinema packages getting cheaper and cheaper, it could be a viable alternative or (much better) way around it.
BTW,just seen the cheapest DVD players ever...for £19.99!

Those 19 quid DVD players should be as basic as meat and potatoes.
@da wanqsta

n the subject of things el cheapo, are you guys flooded with Fong Kong Chinese imports?
It sickens me when I see these cheap imports that probably won't last one year.

You betcha....
TV's,microwaves, VCR's,use name it.
They usually come with a year's guarantee, but it'll probably stop working on the 366th day of ownership...
